This can be used for the experimental determination of the specific heat capacity of various metals. Cylindrical blocks all of mass 1kg adjusted to an accuracy of +2%.

Includes four block calorimeters:

• 1 x Copper
• 1 x Mild Steel
• 1 x Aluminium
• 1 x Brass

Each block is drilled with two holes: a large central hole 12.5mm diameter (75mm deep) for an Immersion Heater (B8A42584) and a smaller hole 7.5mm diameter (72mm deep) to suit a thermometer or temperature sensor.

Each Calorimeter is also available to purchase separately.
